A medium-bodied Ayurvedic Chai. This brew is a naturally decaffeinated version of our Kathmandu Cosmos tea. This herbal blend is delicately balanced with aromatic spices, such as ginger and cardamom, and has pronounced sweet citrus flavor notes of orange peel and lemongrass.

The inspiration for this organic blend came from not being satisfied by the traditional commercially available masala chai tea. One problem with loose-leaf chai tea in general is that most of them are mixed with a lot of aromatic herbs and spices that overpower the real flavors of tea. Furthermore, the base tea used in chai tea is generally never high-quality. We ventured to change that. We used our best high-quality herbs and created an organic herbal blend that is unlike any other. Kathmandu Cosmos Decaf shows our culinary creativity as we’ve successfully blended highly citric ingredients in such a way that does not overpower the tea flavors, but brings out a very well-balanced chai-like smooth brew.

This herbal blend is the perfect combination of herbs and spices such as Organic Cinnamon Leaf, Organic Ginger, Organic Lemongrass, Organic Black Cardamom and Organic Orange Peel. This combination creates the most robust and flavorful herbal blend that we have ever crafted.

Each herbs and spices mentioned above are produced at our family farm; Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center (KTERC), hand cultivated by our local farmers. All the mentioned herbs are meticulously cleaned, and dried according to each of their criteria. The final dried herbs are mixed together to create our prized Kathmandu Cosmos Decaf version, making it the perfect caffeine-free herbal infusion for your health.
