Dec 2021
It has started to get a bit chilly here in New York and I am going through most of my Chai stash. November was an exciting month for us as we got numerous things checked off our to-do list for the year. Nishchal was in Nepal from mid-Nov to early Dec for my aunt's wedding and to oversee yacon production.
What's happening in Nepal Tea USA?
We launched our wellness gift box which has been a hit this season. Also, one of our most awaited gift collections which was supposed to get delivered 2 weeks ago, has just managed to ship out of Nepal and this will be available on our website soon. Do let us know what you think of the new design! Btw, we have also added a new coffee farm to the Nepal Tea umbrella. Nishchal managed to visit and talk to the farmers out on the farm and they will be helping us to source some great Nepali Coffee starting next year. Also, if you are still looking for a last-minute gift do check out our gift guide for some ideas.

What's happening at the farm and in Nepal? Finally, after working together virtually for months, we finally managed to meet our content manager, Ritu, and our photographer, Sanskar along with our collaborators Expressive. We are happy that our Nepal Tea Team is growing. We will be posting more pictures from his trip to Nepal on our social media in the days to come. Also, we are planning on our immersive tea tours for next year pretty soon. If you are interested to immerse in the culture of Nepal and living like a farmer for a few days, please let us know and we will keep you posted. Our trial production session for Yacon was successfully completed and we will be marketing it in the US in the coming months. If you are interested, please do check us out on Amazon. This was one of the most anticipated projects for us and we are more than happy that everything went smoothly with Yacon production. We also managed to plant about 100 tea bushes in the nursery. Yesterday when we were talking about the plantation, Nish was telling me how meticulous our farmers need to be when cutting the sapling. It has to be done in one go with a sharp blade and without hurting or bruising any other part of the plant. Also, they need to be watered so carefully that if they are out of place from the soil, the plant dies. It is almost like caring for a newborn baby, a lot of things need to be taken into account. Imagine we're doing this for 10,000 saplings in the next 6 months! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family |
