Organic turmeric, organic ginger, cinnamon powder and black pepper

Our local farmers in eastern Nepal grow organic turmeric and ginger on our farm. These spices are planted underground in the winter and harvested after about 10 months. The raw herbs are sun-dried to reduce moisture content, ground into a fine powder, and mixed with small amounts of black pepper and cinnamon powder to enhance flavor and health benefits. Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (KTERC) is the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal. It was founded in 1984 by Mr. Deepak Prakash Baskota to lift his community out of poverty.
